By registering for and attending the Diana Cooper Workshop in New Delhi, whether in-person at the venue or via live streaming through the Zoom App, all participants expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Personal Responsibility
Each attendee is solely responsible for their own health, safety, and general well-being throughout the duration of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal physical health, emotional well-being, and any decisions or actions taken during or as a result of the workshop.
2. Accommodation
For participants attending in person, all arrangements for accommodation remain the sole responsibility of the attendees. The organisers and their team do not provide or manage lodging and cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from accommodation quality or services.
3. Meals and Dietary Responsibility
Vegetarian meals will be provided as part of the workshop package. Attendees are solely responsible for ensuring that the food they consume is suitable for their dietary needs and health conditions. The organisers shall not be liable for any allergic reactions, food intolerances, or health-related issues resulting from the consumption of the food provided. Participants are advised to make necessary inquiries regarding ingredients prior to consumption.
4. Health and Medical Needs
Attendees are expected to manage their own health requirements, including medications, medical devices, and emergency needs. There will be no medical staff on site, and the organisers accept no liability for any health-related incidents or emergencies.
5. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their belongings, valuables, and equipment at all times. The organisers and their team shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
6. Transportation and Parking
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the venue. If parking is used, it is at the owner’s risk. The organisers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft involving vehicles or vehicle contents.
7. Venue & Right to Change
The workshop will be held at Eros Hotel, New Delhi (a 5-star property). However, the organisers reserve the right to change the venue if circumstances require. In such cases, attendees will be informed promptly, and no claims, cancellations, or refunds shall be entertained on the basis of a venue change.
8. Third-Party Services
Any third-party services or vendors engaged by participants independently (e.g., accommodation providers, transportation, or food services not included in the event package) are outside the scope of the organisers’ responsibility. Any disputes, issues, or damages arising from these services must be resolved directly with the concerned service provider.
9. General Indemnity
By attending the workshop (in-person or online), participants waive any and all claims against the organisers, facilitators, support staff, volunteers, or affiliated entities, for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience that may arise during the course of the event.
10. Voluntary Participation
Attendance at this workshop is entirely voluntary. By choosing to participate, attendees confirm that they do so of their own free will and assume full responsibility for any outcomes or experiences resulting from their participation.
11. Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with this workshop shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the Calcutta High Court, India.
